Ever since I got my Note 9, I've been loving it. No phone released since I got it has wooed me. But reading reviews and seeing some YT videos (like this one from MKBHD) are getting me interested. Though, as MKBHD hypothesizes there may be a new Note series phone this year, maybe I should just wait.

/r/AskHistorians on Reddit is one of the true joys of that site. The mods keep a very stringent hold on quality that is acceptable, which means a lot of questions go unanswered or empty threads. Sometimes that engenders frustration when posts that might have been good enough get removed. But what this leads to is very high quality when it does clear the bar. And this post is the collection of the best of the best. Definitely worth perusing!

My dev backlog is as follows:
- Feature - Rewrite Publish function to abstract it and make it smarter to only publish necessary changes
- Feature - Generate XML sitemap for search crawling
- Idea - Add a daily weather forecast to daily archives to track how the local weather was on that day
- Idea - Pull daily tweets into daily archives
- Feature - In admin, add a button for [{embed}] tag to QuillJS (as of now, I have to manually write out the template tag.)
- Idea - Pull the day's commits for glowbug via the github API to blog any coding updates
- Feature - Add a "[{MORE}]" tag for entries (This is something that would cut standalone entries and urge users to click through to the individual entry's full post.)
- Feature - Mobile posting page (As of now I can post to admin via the normal page via admin, but it isn't super clean)
- Idea - Add emotes to posts (I mentioned this before as an idea, still considering it)
- Feature - Ability to pin posts (This would let me force a post to stay atop the frontpage)
- Feature - Import old posts from Main blog, Twitter, and elsewhere (inspired by Corey Doctorow, I would love to just make this blog a big archived resource for folks.)
