This Reddit thread educated me about the health information that smart phones enable access to. I had, until today, just had a message on my lock screen, "If found or emergency: XXX-XXX-XXX" (with a real phone number obviously.) But this thread helped me discover that Android has the ability to not only provide an emergency contact on the phone, but also include things like allergies, medicines, blood type, etc. And that this is true for both iOS and Android.
Please take a few minutes and set these on your phone, you never know when it may save your life.
