Thoughts on Calvin and Hobbes
I'm reading the Tenth anniversary collection of the comic and quite enjoying it. Reminiscing about the comics as a kid and reading the excerpts and insights from Watterson.
I remember as a kid noticing that the Sunday strips tended to not be part of the story lines and were often one-offs. As it turns out is that the Sunday steps had to be done two months early to allow the color plating to be done, which Watterson notes was a challenge for him to do reliably.
Fun stuff. So timeless.
