Russia supposedly ready to negotiate
We'll see what truth there is to his claims. Amid Zelenskyy's ten demands for Russia, is that they leave Crimea, which they took in 2014. I have to assume this is a negotiation point designed to be conceded as part of negotiations.

Had a surprise outside during our annual Christmas party
Every Christmas we host a party for friends and others who can't be with anyone for the holiday. This year we had around 15 people over, as well as surprise visit by the fire department after our neighbors had an emergency of sorts.
Haven't gotten to speak with the neighbor yet, and hope everything works out for them. But it was a big surprise to see a 40 foot truck stopped directly outside our house.
