Learning Rust has been very interesting. Returning back to desktop coding rather than web coding has been a bigger leap than I expected. It's been 20 years since I programmed in C and C++. Ow my back.

Women's professional volleyball is a thing now in the USA
Well, calling it professional is probably overstating as I very much doubt the athletes are not also holding other jobs right now. But, as it turns out, there is a seven-team league competing. Participant cities include: Atlanta, Orlando, San Diego, Omaha, Las Vegas, Columbus and Grand Rapids.
Volleyball is a successful pro sport in other countries, it just isn't in the US. So far, at least. We'll see.
